Priyanka Chopra’s Engagement Ring Is So Expensive, It Will Blow Your Mind
Undoubtedly, Nick Jonas is going all out to pamper his ladylove, Priyanka Chopra. If reports are to be believed, he closed down a Tiffany & Co store to hunt for the perfect engagement ring for her. While there is still no official confirmation about Priyanka and her rumoured boyfriend Nick Jonas’ engagement, we recently saw a massive diamond ring on her engagement finger at ace designer Manish Malhotra’s party.
Fans went into a tizzy after getting a glimpse of the gorgeous rock on Priyanka’s left ring finger, all thanks to Raveena Tandon who shared a selfie with PeeCee. And now, foreign media has lined up experts who have not only revealed the design of the Tiffany ring but its jaw-dropping cost also!
Andrew Brown, President of WP Diamonds, told E! News that Nick spent a jaw-dropping $200,000 (Rs 1,40,35,000) on the purchase. “Priyanka’s ring is a high quality cushion cut weighing around 4 carats. It looks to be somewhere around a G color, VS1 clarity which, from Tiffany & Co, would have a value of around $200,000,” he elaborated.
Priyanka has been cautious in the past, taking off her ring every time she is in front of the paparazzi. Earlier this month, a video showed Chopra appearing to hide a ring from fans and paparazzi stationed outside an airport in India. Check out the video:
However, when Priyanka was asked at a recent event if she is engaged to Nick, she neither confirmed nor denied the news. “My entire life, especially my personal life, is not for public consumption. 90 per cent of my life is for public consumption, but 10 per cent of it is for me. I am a girl and I have the right to keep that to myself,” was all she was willing to say.
Even though Priyanka and Jonas have not yet addressed their engagement in public, but the singer appeared to confirm the news over the weekend. When one attendee at the John Varvatos party congratulated him, Jonas replied, “Thanks, man.”
From the looks of the piece, it seems the shut-down was totally worth it.
