Sanjay Tiwari accused Raaj Shaandilyaa of taking the central idea for his film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video from a script titled ‘Sex Hai Toh Life Hai…?’. He said, ‘The central idea is that a husband and wife shoot their own private video for themselves for a healthy relationship and the CD-DVD goes missing. After watching the promo we realized that Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video revolves around the same idea, so we have sent a legal notice to all the producers and are waiting for their proper reply. If we don’t get a reply in the next two or three days then we will take appropriate action.’

The script was already registered in Gulbanu Khan’s name in 2015, which offers evidence in her favor. As per reports, Gulbanu Khan expressed disbelief that Raaj Shaandilyaa would do such a thing. Gulbanu Khan said, ‘It is shocking that someone can misuse our ideas. The central idea of any film is very important. It is like a foundation stone, without which the story and then the film cannot be thought of. ‘Bala’ and ‘Ujda Chaman’ are other examples, where the idea of the film is similar.’
