Project K: Prabhas-Deepika Padukone Starrer Becomes First Indian Film To Debut At San Diego Comic Con; Deets Here!

Project K is receiving a lot of praise and love already ahead of its release. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer has got a new crown on Thursday. On July 6, the makers of the film proudly announced that Project K is set to launch officially at the glorious San Diego Comic-Con event, on July 19. With this, Project K becomes the first Indian film to make its debut at the event in 2023. The film’s title, release date, and trailer will be revealed during the event.

Project K to debut at San Diego Comic-Con

Vyjayanthi Movies took to its Twitter account and announced the news on July 6. The tweet features a special poster of Prabhas where he looks extremely powerful as a superhero with special powers.

On the other hand, it’s been announced that the San Diego Comic-Con event features a glorious panel of special guests. On July 20, the event will be attended by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Superstars Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone and they will be joined by the National award-winning director Nag Ashwin.

Expressing his happiness and excitement about the event, Nag Ashwin said, “India is the home of some of the greatest lore and superheroes ever written. We feel that our film is an attempt to bring out and share this with the world. And Comic Con gives us the perfect stage to introduce our story to a global audience.”

He also added that the prolonged wait is over as it is a proud moment for every Indian who have been wanting to see Indian Cinema on the global map. He ended, “Comic Con is that world stage for us.”

About Project K

Project K will depict a futuristic concept based on Hindu Mythology. Apart from Prabhas, Deepika Padukone is the female lead. The antagonist role will be played by Kamal Haasan. Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani will be seen playing key roles.

The pan-Indian film is divided in two parts. The first part is likely to be released on January 12, 2024.
