During his concert, Diljit said in Punjabi, ‘We do not have proper infrastructure for live shows here. It is an important source of revenue, and many people depend on it for work. I will try to ensure this next time and until that happens I will not do shows in India, that’s for sure.’ Apart from this, the singer has also faced criticism when he wrote Punjab as ‘Panjab’ in his tweet. However, after massive trolling, the singer wrote in his next post on X, ‘If the tricolor emoji is missed even once while mentioning Punjab in a tweet, it is called a conspiracy. Whether you write it as Punjab or Panjab. It will always be Punjab.’
