Even before the film began production, Pushpa 2 generated a lot of buzz among the public. Following the popularity of Pushpa: The Rise, there have been many questions about the sequel, and it appears that some key elements have already been released. Despite rumours on Twitter, the film is said to have a massive budget and would not feature any Bollywood actors.

For the uninitiated, Pushpa was released in December of last year and quickly became one of the year’s top grosser. Allu Arjun plays the hero in the film, and fans are certainly looking forward to seeing more of him in the sequel. Despite the lack of story information, most rumours say that a script has already been written and that filming will begin in June or July.

“While the story of Pushpa: The Rule is in place, Sukumar will be sitting down with his creative team again to polish the right screenplay,” a source close to Idlebrain recently said about Pushpa 2. He recently replenished his batteries by traveling to the United States with his family and is now ready to go. The majority of the second segment will be shot in the East Godavari’s Maredumilli forest. In terms of casting, Sukumar’s prospects of landing some Bollywood names are slim. The team has already generated a super hit in Hindi with some familiar stars from the south business, and they intend to keep doing so.”

“The unit is seeking to conclude shooting by January next year and allow at least four months for post-production activities,” the same source claimed of Pushpa 2’s staggering expenditure. The first part’s post-production was rushed owing to the publication date, and they don’t want to make the same mistake again. Obviously, the magnitude of the second half will be higher. The first instalment cost Rs 194 crore, while the second instalment would cost Rs 400 crore, according to the producers. At the same time, Mythri Film Producers wants to keep the Hindi dubbing copyrights for themselves this time.”
