Radhika Apte Reveals, “Bollywood Makes You Beg For Money Bit Not In Hollywood”

The actress has gone international and recently spoken about playing the role of a World War II spy, Nora Baker, in an upcoming International film Liberte: A Call To Spy on her social media. In an interview with DNA, the actress spoke about the difference between Hollywood and Bollywood and also mentioned some harsh facts on working in Hollywood as compared to working in an Indian film and television industry. Radhika who is all praises about Hollywood, said, “People are very punctual there. And they pay you on time. You don’t have to beg them for money.”

In Liberte: A call to spy, Radhika will be seen playing the character of Indian called Noor Inayat Khan, also known as Nora Baker. The film is based on World War II heroine Indian Noor Inayat Khan, first female wireless operator and British spy who parachuted into Nazi-occupied France to aid the French Resistance during World War II. Directed by Oscar-nominated director Lydia Dean Pilcher, the film is based on true incidents set from 75 years back during World War II when Winston Churchill creates a spy organization ‘SOE’ in order to disturb the Nazi war machine.
