Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who earned a genuine fan following in India with her TV shows has tied the knot for the second time with her longtime businessman beau Salim Karim. On October 1, 2023, Mahira’s manager Anushay Talha Khan took to her IG handle and shared a video from the 38-year old actress’ wedding. In the clip, Mahira is seen walking down the aisle towards her groom who is wiping off his tears of joy on seeing his ladylove. As the video moves forward, Salim is captured lifting his bride’s wedding veil. Towards the end of the clip, the businessman kisses Mahira on her forehead, and the pair shares a warm hug. Social media is abuzz with the priceless moments between Mahira and Salim.

For her special day, Mahira Khan opted for a pastel lehenga with intricate embroidery all over it. She paired it with a matching top and a long veil. Along with her beautiful ensemble, Mahira wore diamond jewellery which included a broad neckpiece, matching earrings and a maang teeka. On the other hand, Salim Karim looked handsome in a plain black sherwani paired with a blue turban.

Mahira met the CEO of the Pakistani startup Simpaisa at the launch of a television application Tapmad TV. They gradually fell in love. Since then, she often expressed her admiration for the businessman and always considered him integral in her journey of life.

In 2022, the ‘Humsafar’ actress had confirmed dating Salim. She stated, “Yeah, I think I am in love. I don’t know, I am so shy about it.”

Let us tell you that Mahira was earlier married to her childhood sweetheart, Ali Askari. The duo have a son named Azlaan together. After eight years of marital bliss, the couple had parted ways.
