In a recent interaction with the Hindustan Times, father-to-be, Rahul Vaidya revealed his wife, Disha’s due date. Rahul revealed that her delivery due date is around September 19-25. The actor further mentioned how the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is significant for both of them. Revealing about the same, he stated:
“I’m bringing bappa home this time as well, like every year. And this year, it is more special because my baby is also going to arrive around the same time. Disha’s is due to deliver between September 19-25. I’m just hoping everything goes well.”
When Rahul Vaidya revealed Disha’s pregnancy was ‘unexpected’
Earlier, in an interview, Rahul Vaidya disclosed how Disha’s pregnancy was a surprise news to him. Elaborating more about it, the actor mentioned that while he was in Goa for some work commitments, his wife, Disha shared the ‘good news’ with him. In the actor’s words:
“I have always dreamt of being a father and giving a lot of love to my child. When I heard the news, it was unexpected, but I was extremely happy, and I am all set to become a papa soon. It is yet to hit me completely, but with congratulatory messages pouring in now, it is slowly sinking in.”

It was on August 24, 2023, when Rahul Vaidya hosted an intimate baby shower ceremony for his wife, Disha Parmar. Decorated with colorful balloons, the backdrop and the venue looked extremely beautiful and was designed accordingly for the to-be-born baby. To mark the special occasion, the parents-to-be planned to cut a teddy-themed two-tier cake which had white frosting and some pink and blue-hued balloons atop it.
