Ranbir-Alia’s film ‘Brahmastra’ has crossed Rs 150 crore business within five days. Ayan Mukerji’s film has not only done well in Hindi speaking states but has also earned Rs 12.25 crore in Telugu states. The film’s craze in North India is being seen due to the Alia-Ranbir pairing and the presence of Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the film. However, this craze in South India is due to Baahubali director SS Rajamouli.

SS Rajamouli

It was SS Rajamouli who promoted Karan Johar’s film Brahmastra in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was planned as a marketing strategy. Actually, director SS Rajamouli has a lot of fans in the Telugu states. Therefore, most of the promotion of Brahmastra in these states was done by Rajamouli.

Brahmastra

Not only this, Rajamouli also organized a grand pre-release event at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. But, it was canceled due to security reasons. However, to make up for it, Rajamouli organized a press meet within a few hours, which was also attended by Jr NTR. Looking at the collection of the film, it can be said that the makers of Brahmastra have taken a wise decision regarding Rajamouli for promotion. But, why did Rajamouli promote this film made in a budget of 410 crores? Did he take crores to do it?

Brahmastra

In some reports, it is being claimed that Rajamouli got a huge amount for presenting the Telugu version of Brahmastra. Yes, it is being said that Rajamouli has reportedly been given Rs 10 crore from producer Karan Johar to promote the film in Telugu.

However, there is no truth in these reports. During a conversation with the media house, a source very close to Karan Johar’s Dharma Production told that this rumor is being spread to spoil the relationship between Karan and Rajamouli. He said, “Rajamouli loves Karan very much. It was Karan’s Dharma Productions that distributed Rajamouli’s Baahubali in Hindi. Rajamouli agreed to promote Brahmastra because of Karan. The question of exchanging money does not arise at all.”
