Rajat Bedi, who recently garnered attention for his role in Aryan Khan’s web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, is back in the limelight, not just for his performance, but also for revealing an interesting behind-the-scenes story about Salman Khan’s film Radhe. In a candid interview, Rajat shared how he was initially thrilled to be offered a significant role in Radhe, Salman Khan’s high-profile action film. The opportunity was especially meaningful as he saw it as a perfect platform for a much-awaited comeback.

Talking about this, Rajat said, “I accepted the offer, I got a call from Mukesh Chhabra’s office saying I’d been selected for Radhe. I was very happy and even met the writer. I thought this would be a great way to return to the big screen, especially alongside Salman Khan, which is a dream for many.” Adding a personal touch, Rajat mentioned the close ties his family shares with the Khans, recalling how his father and grandfather had strong bonds with Salim Khan and his family. He expressed that just the chance to work with them would be a huge achievement.

However, the turn of events came when Salman Khan himself called Rajat and advised him to hold on. Rajat said, “Bhai called me and said, ‘Rajat, wait a little bit. I want to give you a comeback that will be much better than Radhe.’ He praised my height, body, and personality and said, ‘I’m going to give you a strong comeback. Who can say no to you, brother?’”

Despite feeling heartbroken initially, Rajat chose to trust Salman’s vision. Speaking to one of the media houses, he said, “I was told by Salman bhai, through Prabhu Deva sir, that I wouldn’t do the role because it wasn’t the right one for me. I thought, ‘I’m getting a film with Salman and now I have to wait for something better.’ I agreed because I believe in bhai and am looking forward to working with him again.”
