Rajkummar Rao made his debut in the year 2010 with the film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ and it was the same year when he came into a relationship with his wife who was earlier his girlfriend Patralekha.

Recently, in an interview with Raj Shamni, the actor revealed that he got a half-day break during the shooting of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’. The actor thought why not to surprise his girlfriend? He met Patralekha by reaching Lucknow to Delhi, then from Delhi to Guwahati, and then Shillong. Rajkummar Rao further said, ‘I said, I will take this chance. I finished my work at four in the evening and the next day the call time was at two in the afternoon, so I said I will leave now. I somehow reached there and spent an hour with her’.

She was absolutely shocked and said, ‘You have come from Lucknow to Shillong for just an hour?’ I said, ‘Yes, I just wanted to meet you. I wanted to see you’. In the same interview, the actor also shared that he once ran from Mumbai airport to Andheri in heavy rain because there was traffic and he did not want Patralekha to wait.

The actor said, ‘I do not like to see people waiting for me. It was raining that day and there were a lot of traffic jams.
