South star Ram Charan is riding high on the success of his last film ‘RRR’. The film did not just win praises in India but on international platforms also. Personally, Ram is going to enter the most beautiful phase of his life as he will soon become a father. The actor is expecting his first child with entrepreneur wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela. The two had tied the knot in 2012.

Now opening up on her pregnancy, Upasana has revealed that she and Ram had taken the decision to freeze their eggs long ago. Talking about the process of egg freezing, Upasana said that she and Ram had decided to do so early in their relationship, as they had to be financially secure and strong enough before even thinking about having a child.

Upasana stated, “Ram and I had decided that long back in our marriage. We definitely believed that we needed to focus on our careers at that point in time for various reasons. Today both of us are in a stable place where we can take care of the child with our earned money, give a certain kind of lifestyle to our child and bring him up well.”

Upasana said that people may say that they have inherited a lot, but in the end it is our hard earned money which we would like to spend on our child. “We didn’t let anything get in the way of our ideas and I think that’s something that I really respect in our relationship,” quoted Upasana.

For the unknown, Upasana Kamineni Konidela is a third generation philanthropist from the Apollo Hospitals family in India. She creates sustainable businesses for social welfare.
