Bollywood actor recently grabbed headlines as he attended the 69th National Film Awards ceremony in New Delhi. Ranbir’s wife, Alia Bhatt received her first national award for her remarkable role in the film, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi.’ The couple was seated in the second row with veteran actress Waheeda Rehman in the first row. However, Ranbir Kapoor portrayed his protectiveness for actress, Waheeda Rehman as photographers surrounded her for pictures. The actress received the Dadasaheb Phalke award at the ceremony. The actor stood up from his seat and asked photographers to be careful.

The National Film Awards Ceremony 2023 took place at New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhavan with President, Droupadi Murmu presenting the awards. Several acclaimed stars including Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt, Allu Arjun, Waheeda Rehman among others descended on the capital to receive their honorable awards.

However, it was Ranbir Kapoor’s gesture which grabbed netizens attention. Fans praised the actor as Ranbir showed his protective nature towards the veteran actress, Waheeda Rehman.

It so happened when the photographers at the video said: “Arey yar dhakka mukki, table aage jara hai yar, kya kar rahe ho aap log (why are you pushing, the table is moving, what are you doing)?”
