Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is basking in the success of his latest film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. He is receiving accolades for his effortless portrayal of Rocky Randhawa in the movie. In an old video interview which has recently surfaced, the actor is heard talking about how he prepares himself before facing the camera. He is also revealing that sometimes he writes his own lines for films and even moulds them to remember better.

Ranveer takes an indirect jibe at Kangana

In the clip, Ranveer stated that director Karan Johar hailed him for his talent of penning dialogues and he even wanted to credit him for the same in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. However, the actor said a clear no to it.

Further explaining his idea behind declining Karan’s offer, Ranveer said that it is the responsibility of actors to take something and improve it. If they can’t, what are they doing there. He added that he knows there are some actors who have taken it, but this is not his style.

As soon as the video was uploaded on Reddit, netizens began wondering if the actor took a sly dig at Kangana Ranaut who was an additional dialogue writer of her film ‘Queen’ and had also ignited an argument with makers of her 2017 movie ‘Simraan’ over dialogue credits.

One user wrote, “Kangu ki bezzati, rant on insta coming for you Ranveer.” Another stated, “Is it Kangu only? She was my guess because she has bragged quite a bit about it.” A third one penned, “Kangana got additional dialogue credit for Queen and she truly deserved it. The dialogues which you can look up in the script that’s available online are very different from what end result.”

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has signed yet another big project. He will essay the titular role in ‘Don 3’. On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut will come up next with war thriller ‘Tejas’ and period drama ‘Emergency’.
