Actor, filmmaker, and producer Farhan Akhtar has revealed the new face of Don. Ranveer Singh will now take over the role previously played by Shah Rukh Khan. Once again, Don finds himself in the crosshairs of police from 11 different countries. A teaser has been released to introduce Ranveer to the franchise and its dedicated fans.

In the teaser, we see Ranveer in a tall building, initially facing away from the camera. He wears a leather jacket, boots, and casually smokes a cigarette before turning to the camera and introducing himself as Don.

Reacting to the video many fans show their eagerness to see Ranveer as Don’t while some made funny memes. One user wrote, “Is Don ka Intjar to kisi bhi mulk ki police nahi kar rahi hai”.  While one said, ” Ye Don to 10 minute me pakda jayega”.Similarly there was many such funny comments.

In a recent Instagram post, Farhan hinted at a new era for Don. The post mentioned the 1978 original Don film starring Amitabh Bachchan, and how Farhan is excited to bring his directorial talents back to the franchise. The iconic action series with Shah Rukh Khan in 2006 and 2011 firmly established the legacy of Don. Now, a new chapter in the story is set to unfold in 2025, with Ranveer Singh stepping into the role.

When Original Don movie released?

The original Don movie, released in 2006, featured Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Boman Irani in significant roles. Its sequel, released in 2011, was also well-received. Hrithik Roshan also made a special appearance in Don 2. Farhan’s directorial venture was a remake of the 1978 film starring Amitabh Bachchan.
