The Padma Award is one of the highest civilian awards in the country. Padma Awards includes the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. Like Each year, as part of the Republic Day celebrations, these awards and the list of awards for 2023 are announced, and this year’s list of honorees was announced some time ago.

Raveena tandon Reacts on getting Padma Shri 

Raveena Tandon will be awarded with Padma Shri this year. The actress spoke to Etimes and reacted to the award. “I am honored and deeply grateful to the Government of India for recognizing my contribution, life, passion and purpose in film and art which has enabled me to contribute to the film industry as well as to the outside world. It’s unbelievable for me, I never worked for any award. Thanks to everyone who led me on this journey, everyone who held my hand, everyone who looked down on me. I owe this to my father Ravi Tandon”.

Award will be presented On April Or May By President

The Padma Award is presented by the President of India in April or May. This year 19 winners are women. The list includes 6 statues of Padma Vibhushan, 9 statues of Padma Bhushan and 91 statues of Padma Shri.

On the work front, The actress appeared in Aranyak last year with a role in KGF Chapter 2. Other honorees include Golden Globe winner MM Keeravani for his contributions to the field of music. Singer Suman Kalyanpur, who has been active since 1954 and is known for several songs in films such as Nur Jahan, Pakiza and Dil Ek Mandir, was awarded the Padma Shri. The legendary Zakir Hussain was also among the winner.
