Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has been mesmerising the audiences with her charming looks and exceptional acting prowess since 90s. She has done varied roles in her career and has given back-to-back hits. In a recent interview Lehren Retro, the diva opened up on her work ethics and revealed having a strict ‘no-kissing policy’ throughout her career. She still stands firm by it.

Raveena Tandon recalls throwing up after an ugly shooting incident

During the interaction, Raveena was asked why she did not kiss on screen during her career. To this, the actress shared that she always said ‘No’ to scenes that made her uncomfortable on screen. She stated:

“Those days there were no contracts or anything. But I never did what I was not comfortable with.”

Further in the conversation, Raveena recalled an incident wherein she had to film a little rough-handling scene with a male actor. She remembered how by mistake his lips just brushed her lips. After the shoot, the actress went to her room and threw up because she was so uncomfortable. The shot was over and she had nausea. Raveena added that the hero never intended to do it, and he even apologised to her later. She quoted:

“I could not bear it. I was like ‘yuck no. Please brush your teeth, wash your mouth a hundred times.'”

The 48-year-old actress also talked about her daughter Rasha Thadani’s debut in Hindi films opposite Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan in 2024. When Raveena was questioned about her little girl’s preferences for doing intimate scenes on screen, the actress mentioned that it solely depends on Rasha’s level of comfort. Raveena stated:

“If she is comfortable doing it, then she must do it. But if steamy scenes does not make her comfortable, nobody should have the power to force her into doing it”

Raveena Tandon is married to businessman Anil Thadani. The couple is proud parents to two kids, Rasha and Ranbirvardhan.

Workwise, the actress appeared last in the film ‘One Friday Night’. She will come up next with ‘Ghudchadi’ with Sanjay Dutt. Besides this, Raveena also has a third instalment of the ‘Welcome’ franchise titled ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ in her kitty.
