Raveena Tandon confesses her worst critic is her family member. Her daughter Rasha calls her Insta reels “cringe,” and wants her to delete those videos. In particular, she was talking about a viral trend reel on “looking like a wow.”

The Bollywood actress is no stranger to social media, where you can catch her sharing hilarious videos and daily life updates.

Bollywood Queen but Instagram ‘Dud’

Once reigning the Tinsel Town in blockbuster hits like “Mohraa” and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” Raveena Tandon proved her talent years ago. She created her niche and commands a great screen presence. Raveena also graces OTT space and the big screen with popular shows, reality segments, and movies, with impactful choices.

However, when it comes to social media, especially Instagram reels, he dubs herself a big “dud.” No matter how active she is on social networks, she reveals she has no clue as to what works and what is good. In the process, she made some “serious” and “horrible” mistakes, she shared.

“My team tells me to post reels, and I choose a funny one. When I see something and fall off the floor laughing, I know that abb yeh toh banaana hi hai! (now this has to be made),” but doing so costs her dearly, she reveals.

Raveena Tandon Had to Delete a Reel Per Daughter’s Request

“I’m an actor and not an influencer. But I love the way influencers create content, they’ve a knack for it. So, sometimes, I piggyback on reels from influencers.” In a recent interview, she confessed that her daughter Rasha Thadani hates her reels. Reportedly, Rasha says, “Mumma, you cannot be making these reels, it’s cringe!”

When Raveena Tandon was among the first ones from the industry to do a reel on the “so beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow” viral trend, her daughter made her delete it. “She never approved of it, but freaked out.” Raveena also recalled that Deepika Padukone joined the same viral trend.

“I argued, ‘See, everyone’s making it! Just because Deepika made it, it’s a rage. And when I had made it, it was cringe?’ But Rasha didn’t listen, and I had to remove it.”

Rasha is close to her mother and you can see her donning Raveena’s timeless costumes — vintage ‘90s clothes. Raveena Tandon last featured in the Ruchi Narain-directed OTT show Karmaa Calling, available on Disney+ Hotstar. Her next is “Welcome to the Jungle,” co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.
