Shabana Azmi said in her recent interview, ‘We all are part of a group called Dheer Sara Pyar. That day, Sandhya Mridul, Konkana Sen Sharma, and Vidya Balan did not become a part of the party as they were not in the city. We wanted to have a baby shower for Richa, but it could not happen. So, it was just a visit to see the baby. This group is like a family. The joy you get with family, you get the same in this group.’ The veteran actress revealed that her husband, writer, and poet Javed Akhtar had also suggested a name for the newborn baby girl. Shabana shared, ‘Javed suggested that the couple should name their baby girl Jwala Ali. When I asked him the reason for this, he said Richa herself is a firebrand, and their daughter should also have the same name. But they had already given her a beautiful name.’

Shabana Azmi continued, ‘Ali is very supportive of Richa and is connected with his daughter. I don’t think he can see anything beyond that at this point.’ Shabana also shared how Richa Chadha is as a mother. The veteran actress added, ‘The baby was sleeping the whole time, looking like an angel. I commented on how decent she looked, to which Richa replied, ‘She looks as decent as she looks in the morning, but she opens her eyes in the middle of the night and wakes up screaming. So, neither Ali nor I get a wink of sleep.’
