In a recent interview, when Richa was asked about Nora Fatehi’s recent comment on women empowerment, where she had said that ‘women should be nurturers’. On this, the actress said that she does not completely agree with this particular statement of Nora. Richa believes that there is no need to tell women what they should and should not do as they are sensible enough to understand what is good for them.

Richa said, “The good thing about feminism is that it accepts people who want the benefits of feminism but refuse to be feminists. It is only because of feminism that a woman is able to make her own career, choose her own, wear whatever she wants, and do the work where she wants to be independent. So telling women what they should do is quite wrong.”

Richa further said, “All roles should not be defined as gender roles but as a human being. I totally don’t agree that women should be like this and feminism is really bullshit. I feel strange even thinking that people make such statements.” It all started when Nora Fatehi said in a show, “Feminism. I don’t believe in this nonsense. In fact, I think, feminism has completely ruined our society…The feminism era has now brainwashed a lot of men as well.”
