In an interview with one of the media houses, Sheena shared that the nine months were extremely demanding. “This journey was not easy. There were days when I cried. I have undergone many surgeries in the past, but nothing compares to this. People call motherhood a beautiful journey, and it truly is, but it has also been the toughest phase of my life,” she admitted. The actress also revealed that she experienced difficulty breathing and restless nights, making the process even more exhausting. The couple had first announced their pregnancy in April 2025.

Rohit, who plays the on-screen father of a daughter in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, welcomed his real-life son on 15 September. The news brought heartfelt congratulations from their industry friends. Sheena had earlier opened up about the medical complications she faced during her pregnancy, especially in the seventh month. She revealed that her hemoglobin levels dropped dangerously low, forcing her to take multiple injections, sometimes as many as seven a day, and frequent hospital visits. She also dealt with nausea, vomiting, and had to rely on pain medication and multivitamin supplements to stabilize her health.
