Rohit Shetty is currently busy with the production of ‘Singham Again.’ It is the fifth installment in his cop universe. The action-packed film follows ‘Sooryavanshi’ and features an impressive ensemble cast. That includes Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff.
He is currently occupied with his upcoming OTT show titled “Indian Police Force.” The show features Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi. It is scheduled to release on January 19, 2024. He achieved success with the first installment of the comedy film franchise, Golmaal (2006), starring Ajay Devgn and Arshad Warsi, which became a sleeper hit. Subsequent successful films in the franchise included Golmaal Returns (2008) and Golmaal 3 (2010), which became one of the highest-grossing films of the year.
Shetty made a comeback to the action genre with Singham (2011) after his first action thriller, Zameen. With Ajay Devgn in the starring role as well, it became one of the biggest-grossing movies of the year. Subsequently, it grew in the Cop Universe series with more popular movies like Sooryavanshi (2021), Simmba (2018), and Singham Returns (2014).
