Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is known for his strong acting as well as his generosity. Recently, journalist Roshmila Bhattacharya shared a story while talking about King Khan’s generosity. She told how Shah Rukh had helped her during a challenging time. Roshmila narrated an experience of the 90s in a conversation when she was interviewing Shah Rukh Khan in Film City.

She said that the interview went on for so long that she missed her last bus to go home. Roshmila Bhattacharya said during the conversation, ‘I used to live in Vashi and at that time there was no local train for Vashi. There were only buses, the last of which used to leave at 11:30 pm. I was stuck in Film City. Because there were no mobile phones at that time, my husband was also waiting for me at home.’

Roshmila further said that Shah Rukh was shooting in Film City. He was continuing his interview in the middle of the shooting. At that time she was 24 or 25 years old and was about to cry. When Shahrukh saw her trouble, he asked what happened. She said that she missed her last bus and she did not know where she would spend the night. She said that in those days it was almost impossible to get taxis to Vashi. After this Shahrukh Khan immediately offered her help.

Roshmila said, ‘Shahrukh said don’t worry, I will send my car.’ When Roshmila expressed concern about the long drive to Vashi, King Khan said, ‘Yes the car will drop you there. Just my driver should call me when he reaches Vashi so that I can tell him whether he has to return here or go home.’ After this Roshmila laughingly asked Shahrukh how will you go home? To this, he laughingly said, ‘Don’t worry, someone will take me.’
