After Ram Charan received the award, his father and actor Chiranjeevi congratulated him on Twitter. “I am absolutely very thrilled and proud for you to have received India’s True Legend Future Of Young Award. Ram Charan recently announced on Twitter his next project with director Buchi Babu Sana. This film, called a sports drama, will be the first collaboration between the director and Ram. Sharing the news about the untitled film, now called RC16, Ram admits he’s very excited. “Love it! Looking forward to working with @BuchiBabuSana and the rest of the team,” he tweeted.According to the official statement, the project will be a pan-Indian film. The project is co-created by Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas and will go to the floors later this month.
Ram Charan, who last appeared on screen in S.S. Rajamouli RRR is currently shooting with director Shankar for an untitled film. The film, titled RC 15, is the first collaboration between Shankar and Ram Charan. In the film, he will play an IAS officer. Kiara Advani also stars in this film.
