Rupali Ganguly’s Lawyer Gave Clarification On Notice Sent To Esha Verma For Defamation Case, Deets Inside

Rupali Ganguly earned immense fame through her acting skills in TV’s one of the most popular shows Anupama. She is currently working as the lead actress in the popular small-screen show ‘Anupama’, often remains in the headlines for her personal life as well as for her work. Recently, after a series of controversies between her stepdaughter Esha Verma and the actress she filed a defamation suit of Rs 50 crore against her stepdaughter for making irrelevant comments on her and Ashwin.

Since the actress filed the defamation case against her stepdaughter, Esha didn’t respond anything to Rupali. At the same time, now the actress’s lawyer Sana Sais Khan has reacted on this whole issue without the interference of Esha in the controversy. Sana has clarified that Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter has not yet responded to the defamation notice and neither has her mother commented anything.

While talking to the media, Rupali’s lawyer Sana Rais Khan said that even though Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter removed the controversial social media post that led to this legal battle, she has not accepted the legal notice. Sana said, ‘She has not responded to any of these allegations. However, after receiving our notice, she has removed all the defamatory posts and also deleted an account, which is an acceptance of her wrongdoing.’

Anupama’s lawyer further revealed that Rupali Ganguly had earlier maintained silence on the issue but when her 11-year-old son Rudransh was dragged into the controversy, she could not stop herself. Sana clarified that this is why Rupali had decided to send a defamation notice to Esha Verma. She further explained, ‘Rupali decided to take this drastic step when her stepdaughter maliciously termed her 11-year-old child illegitimate and the matter escalated with continuous defamatory and derogatory posts, leading to character assassination of Rupali.’
