Sidharth Shukla died on Thursday experiencing a massive heart attack. He was rushed to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai but was declared dead on arrival. “Initial report indicates that he died of a heart attack. We, however, won’t be able to confirm the cause of his death until we complete the post mortem,” a senior doctor from the forensic department of the hospital told Hindustan Times.

Bigg Boss 13 winner and famous actor Sidharth Shukla was a sensational personality. Sidharth has done many hit shows. He possessed fine acting chops and because of his powerful performances, the actor got an opportunity to work with one of the most reputed production houses of Bollywood, Dharma Productions. The actor worked with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. It was his first Bollywood film.

His co-stars Varun and Alia have expressed their grief over Shukla’s sudden departure. Talking to her Instagram story, Alia Bhatt shared an old black and white picture featuring herself along with Sidharth Shukla and Varun Dhawan. She captioned the story, “Sid. One of the warmest, kindest, and most genuine people I’ve worked with. Always smiling and always positive! My heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and his fans who loved him so so deeply! Rest in peace!” Her caption was followed by folded hands emoji.

Varun Dhawan is also in a state of shock right now. In his Instagram post, Varun Dhawan shared pictures of him and Sidharth with Alia Bhatt and captioned it as, “Rip brother u are loved by so many and u touched so many with ur kind heart and beautiful personality. Today heaven has gained a star and we have lost one. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones.”

Varun is also among the very few Bollywood celebs who have reached Sidharth’s residence to pay last tributes to him.

Back in time, Varun in an interview ahead of their film’s release had spoken about Sidharth’s popularity and when he first realized the level of his hype. He told in Hindi at a press meet, “In Borivali, we were shooting. First, there were a couple of aunties, and I didn’t pay much attention thinking there were kids nearby. Then some school kids came calling Sidharth’s name, that’s when I realized there’s going to be a problem.”

When Sidharth Shukla was inside the Bigg Boss 13 house, Varun visited the house and advised Sidharth not to keep his cool and told him to stay calm.
