Saiyami Kher has given her brilliant performance in many Indian films. Saiyami, who plays challenging roles on the big screen, started her career in Hindi films with the film ‘Mirzya’ released in the year 2015. Saiyami was seen in the role of a fire brigade member in ‘Agni’. She also performed some dangerous stunts in it. She also won everyone’s hearts with her role of a paraplegic character in ‘Ghoomar’. Now after several months of intensive training, Saiyami Kher has successfully completed the Ironman Triathlon 2024 held in Berlin on 15 September. This triathlon includes running, swimming, and cycling. All these together cover a total distance of 113 km. Eventually her hard work paid off and she achieved this milestone. Saiyami is the first Indian actress to complete the Ironman 70.3 in Berlin, the capital of Germany.

Saiyami shared a picture on Instagram and wrote, “Ironman 70.3 finisher It was something thrilling, bitter cold and getting lost on the way! Once I understand all this, I will write a long post soon.” The actress was in Canada for the screening of her film Ghoomar and from there reached Germany directly for the race. Apart from Saiyami, the only Bollywood celebrity to participate in the Ironman Triathlon is Milind Soman.

According to media reports, after completing this race, Saiyami said in the interview, “Crossing the finish line of Ironman 70.3 and getting that medal is one of the proudest moments of my life. It has always been on my bucket list and I am very happy that I finally did it. Shooting for 12 to 14 hours for an Ironman was tough. I completed it. This race has been about losing your way and finding your way. I am very happy that I completed it, not just for the finish but it brought me here. I will always keep this moment with me.”

Erkner is a small town adjacent to the Brandenburg Forest, a mile from Berlin, the capital of Germany, where triathlon is held. Its name is Ironman 70.3 Erkner. The 70.3 in this race refers to the total distance covered in the race (113.0 km), which includes 1.2 miles (1.9 km) of swimming, 56 miles (90 km) of cycling and 13.1 miles (21.1 km) of running.
