Daisy Shah recalled her experience during the shooting of a Kannada film in an interview with one of the media houses and said, ‘When I was shooting for that film, after shooting, in my free time, I was watching Kannada songs on TV… There was a particular actor, and in all his songs, either fruit salad or vegetable salad was being made on the heroine’s navel… with close-up shots… or sometimes ice or water was being poured on the navel.’

Although Daisy Shah did not name anyone, soon after the video surfaced on the internet, many users on X speculated that she was indirectly referring to actor and filmmaker V Ravichandran, who does such things in his films.
