The director of the movie, Abhinav Kashyap wanted Irrfan Khan or Randeep Hooda to play the character Chulbul Pandey. But none of them were finalized. Abhinav offered to be the producer to Arbaaz Khan and also questioned about Slaman. He asked, “What if we got Salman Khan on board as Pandey ji?” After questioning, he instantly got himself excited by the self-imagination. Hence, we all know who won the war.
