Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly received another death threat linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, raising fresh concerns over his safety. The Mumbai Police Traffic Control Room received a message allegedly from Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, demanding that Khan apologize at the Bishnoi community’s temple or pay Rs 5 crore. Failure to comply, the message warned, would result in the actor’s assassination.

According to PTI, the threatening WhatsApp message arrived late on November 4, 2024, with a chilling warning. “This is Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother speaking… If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should either apologize at our temple or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does not comply, we will kill him. Our gang is still active,” the message reportedly stated.

Mumbai Police have launched an investigation, aiming to trace the source of the threat. The Worli Police Station has already begun the process of registering a case and is working on identifying the sender’s location. The news agency ANI confirmed the development through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), stating, “In the case of a threat to actor Salman Khan, the process of registering the case is underway at Worli Police Station. The number from which the message came is being traced: Mumbai Police.”

This latest threat follows a series of previous warnings reportedly issued to the actor by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Security concerns around Khan heightened after the recent murder of Baba Siddique, a well-known politician and close associate of the actor. Following Siddique’s death, Khan’s security was upgraded, allowing him to continue working on his upcoming film, Sikandar, under stringent precautions.

Work-Front

Despite the security risks, Khan has maintained his work schedule for Sikandar, a high-profile action film directed by AR Murugadoss and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala. Set for an Eid 2025 release, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi. Khan and Mandanna are currently filming in Hyderabad, with the production team aiming to complete shooting by year’s end.

As police investigate the source of this latest threat, Salman Khan’s security team remains vigilant to ensure his safety amid ongoing challenges.
