Samantha Ruth Prabhu is hitting headlines for her film Shaakuntalam. Recently, she reached the trailer launch event of the film, where she was seen shedding tears multiple times. Soon after, fans cheered her up and send in wishes to the actress. Prabhu also thanked her admirers for their support. At the same time, many pictures and videos of this event are going viral on social media. And one such montage made Samantha lose her cool.

Samantha who looked drop dead gorgeous in a white saree during the trailer launch got a ‘sympathy’ post from a portal on Twitter. The page which goes by the name Buzz Basket said that the Yashoda actress ‘lost her charm and glow’ after myositis, a condition which causes weak, painful or aching muscles. It read, ‘Sad for Samantha. Lost all their charm and luster. When everyone thought she had come out strong from the divorce and was taking off in her professional life, myositis hit her badly, making her weak again.’

Samantha could not keep mum on the same and hence, came up with a befitting reply to the user. In her response, she wrote, ‘I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did…and here’s some love from me to add to your glow.’

Actor Varun Dhawan who is soon going to share screen space with Samantha also came out in her support. He shut the publication and penned, “You don’t feel bad about anything you just care about clickbait feel bad for you son. Also glow is available in Instagram filters. Just meet Sam trust me she was glowing.”

Fans of the actress also fiercely criticized the tweet. An admirer wrote, ‘As someone who has an autoimmune disease and has gone through a lot of treatment including steroids, with all the effects of the disease and treatment that are clearly visible, This type of comment can feel cruel. I feel bad for those who cannot see the calm and remarkable strength of a person battling an illness.’

Workwise, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in Hari-Harish’s Yashoda. She is coming up next with Shaakuntalam, Kushi and Citadel India.
