During the session, the actress made a candid revelation about her past relationship, admitting to spending a “ridiculous amount” of money on expensive gifts for her ex-husband, actor Naga Chaitanya.

When asked by Varun Dhawan, “What’s the most ridiculous amount of money you’ve spent on something completely useless?” Samantha quickly responded, “My ex’s expensive gifts.” Varun pressed her further, asking, “Which is how much?” to which Samantha replied with a laugh, “Quite a bit! Okay, move on!” The lighthearted moment gave fans a rare glimpse into her personal life.

However, when Varun asked Samantha to share the last person she texted and read the message out loud, the actress chose to keep that detail private, refusing to give a name or read the text, maintaining her usual discretion about her personal life.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya were one of the most talked-about couples in the industry before announcing their separation in 2021 after a few years of marriage. The couple had tied the knot in a fairy-tale wedding in Goa in 2017 but chose to part ways without publicly revealing the reasons behind their split. Following the breakup, Chaitanya has moved on and is now engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple, who got engaged in August 2024, will marry on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

Samantha, meanwhile, has focused on her career, with her recent role in the action-packed Citadel: Honey Bunny. The series, which was released on November 7, features Samantha alongside Varun Dhawan as spies Bunny and Honey, respectively. Citadel: Honey Bunny is part of the global Citadel franchise, produced by the Russo Brothers, and is linked to the international series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. The series has garnered attention for its thrilling action sequences and Samantha’s dynamic performance.
