The gorgeous Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy took a sabbatical from acting after appearing in a few Bollywood movies. She is currently giving time to her family and is quite famous on social media. Reddy frequently shares visuals from the happenings in her personal life. She also keeps influencing her followers for leading a life on their own terms.
Sameera who is now a strong advocate of body positivity and self love recently opened up on her initial days in the film industry. She has revealed that when she was active in the showbiz, many people said that she doesn’t have a perfect body. In fact, some even advised her to go under the knife.
Sameera reveals she was asked to get a boob job
In a recent interaction with a leading daily, Sameera disclosed that there was a time when she would starve herself or take very less amount of food so as to maintain a certain weight. She also mentioned how she once considered undergoing corrective surgeries on her face and body as it was a norm back then.
Sameera began by stating that after her debut film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in 2002, people started referring to her as the ‘Sexy Sam’ and so she had to look a certain way which was not easy.
Furthermore, Sameera stated that someone asked her to get a boob job. “There was a crazy time 10 years ago where everybody was going under the knife. There were doing plastic surgery, boob job, change nose or bone structure, etc.. I had to always pad my chest and was told to get a boob job done. Many times, I would think, ‘Should I? because it was so openly spoken about,” she quoted.
Sameera feels grateful as she did not take any severe step at that time as that would have made her feel uncomfortable now.
