Sanjay Leela Bhansali Speaks On Working With Star Vikram Gokhale; Says, “He Used To Get Lost In His Characters”
Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali coordinated Vikram Gokhale in the 1999 classic Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. As he recalls Vikram’s focus on work, he said, “He used to disappear into his character while working.”
Bhansali coordinated Gokhale within the movie where Vikram Gokhale played a Hindustani classical artist and master named Darbar. Gokhale played Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father and Salman Khan’s master.
Sanjay expressed on hearing of Vikram Gokhale’s death, “We worked together in one film. And what a storage facility of recollections that turned out to be!
