Sara Ali Khan was delighted to share her Gujarati food indulgence on her social media. She is a fitness fanatic who follows a diet which is strictly oriented towards her fitness agenda. Her meticulous workout and training sessions motivates and encourages her fans to edge forward for their betterment or amelioration.

She never fails to compromise on her meals but instead adapts herself in the direction of having  a well-balanced diet. She is one of the Bollywood actress who keeps enjoying various regional food cuisines of India.

Recently, the audience has witnessed the actress gratifying a classic winter recipe from Gujarat cuisine.  It is a regional food of Gujarat that is Undhiyu. She even posted a picture of the appetizing food item on her Instagram story which comprised of one vegetable dish along with home made phulkas or rotis. “Ami Patel thankyou for the yummiest undhiyu. As long as you don’t expect me to wear any hot clothes before a week now. Parth Mangla, a repeat from you is due this week,” she mentioned as a side note. An endearing sticker depicting the gujarati wish ‘Majama’ was also noticed in the story.

Undhiyu is essentially a mixed vegetable dish meant to have originated from the city of Surat in Gujarat. The dish is made by mixing seasonal green vegetables that are available in local markets, most commonly in the season of winter. All the vegetables are then cooked together simultaneously in an earthen pot and the dish is named as ‘Undhiyu’ which means inverted.

The actress was also seen clasping a cup of tea in her hands. She was caught on her terrace wearing a stunning red shawl. The evidence behind the actress’s love and fondness for distinct religious delicacies lies in the caption of another post on her page. The caption as described by the actress as, “When Harjit Singh says ‘think love and desire’ and the only thing I can picture or recall is Sarso Da Saag and Makki Di Roti.”
