Being a star in Bollywood means embracing both admiration and criticism. Sara Ali Khan, who frequently faces online trolling over her acting skills, has found a way to rise above it—meditation. Speaking at the Times Now Summit, the actress shared how she filters negativity and maintains her peace of mind.
“I Let Go of ‘Sara is the Best’ and ‘Sara is the Worst'”
Sara revealed that she no longer lets social media affect her. “Trolling was never the problem. The problem was the emotion of ‘Is this person right?’” she said. Meditation has helped her detach from external opinions. “I look at my thoughts like clouds. I let go of ‘Sara is the best,’ and I let go of ‘Sara is the worst.’ Sara is. That’s what I’m focusing on.”
The actress also acknowledged that she has a long journey ahead in her career. “I’m not even at the tip of the iceberg as an actor. Some people will like me, some won’t, and that’s okay. I have a long way to go—not just as an actor but, hopefully, into production and entrepreneurship as well.”

On the Work Front
Sara was last seen in Sky Force, where she starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur. Up next, she will be seen in Anurag Basu’s highly anticipated romantic drama Metro… In Dino, a spiritual sequel to Life in a… Metro (2007).
Produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions, the film weaves together four contemporary love stories. It boasts an ensemble cast, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is set to hit theaters on July 4.
As Sara continues her Bollywood journey, her mantra remains clear—focus on the present, silence the noise, and let her work speak for itself.
