Sara Ali Khan Reveals How Does It Feel To Have Poo a.k.a Kareena Kapoor As Her Stepmother
Do you remember Kareena Kapoor’s character “Poo” from Karan Johar’s romcom Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and her famous dialogue from the film? “Tumhe Koi Haq Nahi Banta Ki Tum Khoobsurat Lago… Not Fair!” How can one not remember Poo’s character from the film? But do you know apart from us, who else is inspired by Poo’s character? Well, it’s her stepdaughter and Kedarnath actress Sara Ali Khan.
In one of the interviews with Red Fm, during the promotions of her debut film, Kedarnath, When Sara was asked “ What does she like about her stepmom, Kareena, Sara said, “The one thing I like the most about her is, ‘Ki woh unki favorite hai’. (That she is her own favorite person) ‘Main apni favorite hoon!’ I have grown up watching K3G. I sometimes can’t associate her beyond Poo. In an interview with Famously Filmfare, Sara revealed that she is a big fan of Poo’s character from the film K3G. In a short clip from the interview, Sara revealed that she still can’t believe that Kareena is her stepmother. When the interviewer asked Sara how does it feel to have Kareena as her stepmother, Sara said “Can you imagine! Say that again!. (laughs). She continued, “People tell me you’ve willed this to happen. You have been such a die-hard Kareena fan that you have willed her into your life and this is what you get.”Have a look at the video.
Sara was invited with daddy Saif on the couch of Karan Johar’s chat show where Sara and Saif revealed that they share a warm bond. The actress also talked about her equation with stepmom Kareena, She said, “Everyone has been clear about their dynamics with me. It has never been confusing. Kareena herself says that ‘look you have a mother and a great one and what I want is for us to be able to be friends.’ My father also never said ‘this is your second mother’ or made it any way uncomfortable.”
