Sushant Singh heaps praises on Pakistani shows
In a viral video which comes amidst the popularity of Pakistani dramas in India, Sushant Singh is heard questioning Indian television content. He also raised issues about the treatment of people who speak out against injustice.
The actor stated, “Our neighbouring country, whom we keep calling our enemy, look at their content and look at your content. It is amazing. Why are we producing substandard content? Why do we victimise those who complain? Is this the message we want to give? It’s said that don’t raise your voice against us, we don’t want to change. That’s it, it’s either bear it or leave it.”
Sushant further showed his disappointment and added, “If you raise your voice, it will work. Is this the message the broadcasters and producers want to send to the world? This is a feudal mentality. Do we not want to change?”
