Selena Gomez warmly welcomed the year 2023 with a bang. As she bid farewell to 2022 and welcomed the new year, the singer-actress was surrounded by sunshine, sand, sea, and her friends.

The singer welcomed 2023 on a yacht alongside BFFs Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz – and she’s now shared photos from the occasion with her fans.

Selena took to Instagram and shared two posts with multiple images from her New Year’s Eve celebration with friends. And believe us when we say that these images are a treat for the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress’ 367 million Instagram followers.

Selena Gomez began the new year with a beach vacation and then spent time on the sea with friends on a yacht. On Monday, the singer-actress, who had jetted off to an exotic location, posted a photo dump on Instagram to share glimpses of her vibrant New Year’s celebration.

Selena shared monochrome photos with her friends in a post wishing her fans, in which she twinned with bestie Nicola Peltz. Nicola, an American actress, married Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, earlier this year.

The multi-talented diva wore a glimmering silver Valentino gown with backless detailing. She accessorised her park-like ensemble with clear block heels, slicked-back hair, statement hoops, and dramatic eye makeup. She thanked the designer for the outfits she and her friends were wearing.

Selena also shared a photo dump of herself relaxing on a yacht with friends and playing beach games like jenga. Selena wore a loose white dress with tie-ups to the beach before changing into a sleeveless white bikini top and black bottom for a swim.

 

Concerning her BFFs, Selena, in her second post – appropriately captioned “Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone,” sees the ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants’ singer cosying up to Brooklyn Beckham’s Nicola Peltz. While one photo shows the three besties in a warm embrace on the yacht, another shows them sharing an adorable moment while resting on a cot attached to the boat.

Other photos show Selena and Nicola matching in white, while others show them getting ready for the New Year in a festive manner.

On the professional front: Selena recently appeared in the documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me. She also co-starred with Steve Martin and Martin Short in the second season of Only Murders In The Building. Her most recent music video collaboration is the well-known Calm Down with Rema.
