​​​​​​​Actress Maanvi Gagroo has won several accolades for the portrayal of a bubbly girl Siddhi Patel in the famous web series Four More Shots Please! The show became a turning point in her career as the actress feels that after this series, she started getting more recognition as an artist and people in the acting business began taking her seriously.

“Till Four More Shots Please! happened, I was getting roles that were girl-next-door. So, in terms of presenting myself in a glamorous and fashionable way, this show is something I had never done before,” she said.

“Suddenly people started taking me seriously and it also helped me gain the currency of social media following, which is very important in today’s time and age,” Maanvi added.

Furthermore, the Tripling actress talked about sex and intimacy being a taboo topics even in today’s times. She mentioned that we are taught to keep these affairs under wraps and not talk openly about them. “I think culturally we have been taught that when we speak about physical intimacy, we keep it very private, very hush-hush because it’s extremely personal. Well, to each their own. If you want to keep your sex life or love life private, it’s completely up to you. However, sex and intimacy must not be considered taboo topics,” stated the chirpy actress.

“People who want to talk about it should also be allowed to do so as long as you don’t go into details that might offend somebody. I think, similarly, Siddhi had notions about how she led her life and it changed, which happens to all of us,” she continued.

The third instalment of Four More Shots Please! has been released recently. It stars Kirti Kulhari, Maanvi Gagroo, Bani J, and Sayani Gupta in pivotal roles.
