The pandemic hit each one of us really hard. And when we say everyone, it does include the superstar of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan too. Yes, you heard that right. King Khan suffered like any other actor from the entertainment industry during Covid times. Recently, Khan’s close buddy, filmmaker Karan Johar revealed that Mrs. Khan i.e. Gauri was the only ‘earning member’ in Shah Rukh’s house during the Covid pandemic.

In an episode of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood wives, Karan and Gauri made a special appearance with Maheep Kapoor. The three of them sat down for a chat session. During their conversation, Karan told Maheep about how Gauri earned well during the pandemic. He shared a short anecdote and stated, “The other day Shah Rukh had made me laugh so much. He said, ‘Since we have gone into this pandemic, the only family member who is making money in this house is Gauri.’ His chartered accountant had called and said, ‘Why don’t you learn something from your wife? She is the only profitable member in the house.”

Gauri, who was listening to Karan added that SRK makes such comments just to give her a push. “He (SRK) loves to say all these things. He likes to hype me a bit,” she quoted. Karan showed his support to Shah Rukh’s words and added, “More power to you. That’s amazing.”

Let us tell you that according to a report, when most of the sectors were suffering during the pandemic, the interior designers’ business saw a rise during the lockdown as people locked in homes wanted to have better interiors. And Gauri Khan being in the field profited a lot during that time.

Meanwhile, SRK has also resumed with his shoots. His upcoming films include Pathan and Jawan. He also has a cameo in Ayan Mukherjee’s big budget film Brahmastra.
