Taking to her IG handle on August 31, 2023, Mira Rajput dropped some glimpses of her look from the family wedding. She looked pretty in a red-colored sharara set featuring lace and stonework on its borders. Mira looked stunning as she donned a sequin-encrusted dupatta and nude makeup on her face.

To accessorize her look, Mira Rajput opted for a bindi and statement kundan jewellery set to add a traditional element to her look. She looked elegant and gracious in open tresses and a white potli bag which she carried with her stunning ensemble.
However, netizens were left surprised after knowing that Mira Rajput repeated her bridal jewellery for the occasion, and styled it in her own distinct way. Her bridal jewellery included a choker-style statement neckpiece with matching earrings, a passa, maang teeka and a heap of pink bangles.

Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor also took to his Instagram handle and shared some drool- worthy pictures of himself as he got ready for the wedding. The actor opted for a black kurta and tied a turban on his head. In one of the pictures, Shahid was seen posing alongside his father, Pankaj Kapur who donned a twinning look. Sharing the glimpses, Shahid revealed how his father asked him to wear a pag for the family wedding. His note can be read as:
“Dad always says ghar pe Shaadi hogi to pag paega na.”

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor talked about his struggling days and confessed that he is a self-made actor. The actor mentioned that he feels sad whenever somebody labels him a star kid. Elaborating on the same, Shahid said that he has achieved stardom because of his father, Pankaj Kapur.
For those who are unaware, Shahid and his father, Pankaj Kapur have collaboratively worked in two movies, Shaandaar and Jersey. Opening up about his father’s nature, Shahid disclosed that his father is a very well- pleased man. According to the son, his father had struggled in his early days and he never helped his son. In the words of Shahid Kapoor:
“He (Pankaj) was a very proud man. He would never tell his son ki mein yaha call kar deta hoon, jaake unse mil le. My father was like I struggled my way up and I was too proud to ask him also ever for any support. In fact, I never even brought it up with him nor did he ever ask me. It just never came up. So of course, it has been 20 years of a lot of work.”
