According to media reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment has bought the remake and negative rights of the 1998 Govinda and Raveena Tandon starrer ‘Dulhe Raja’. The deal was stuck for a long time regarding the rights of the film. It is being said that Farhad Samji is working on the script of the film. Based on the script, the casting will be done keeping in view the present time. Talking about the film ‘Dulhe Raja’, it was directed by Harmesh Malhotra. ‘Dulhe Raja’ is one of the funniest films of Govinda and Raveena Tandon, which received immense love from the audience. Apart from Govinda and Raveena Tandon in the film, Kader Khan, Prem Chopra, Johnny Lever. Excellent actors like Asrani played the lead roles.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to the big screen after four years. He was last seen in the 2018 film ‘Zero’, which proved unsuccessful at the box office.
