Shalini Passi Responds To ‘Bizzare’ Hair Transplant Rumours: ‘Just Blessed To Have…’
Delhi-based art connoisseur and reality TV star Shalini Passi, who gained fame from Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, has spoken out about some of the “odd and bizarre” things she’s read online about herself. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Shalini addressed rumours suggesting that she had undergone a hair transplant, calling the claim both funny and unfounded.
Shalini, 47, laughed off the allegations, saying, “Some odd, bizarre things I read about myself include claims that I’ve had a hair transplant. And yeah, that was very funny.” The art enthusiast explained that her family and friends are well aware of the truth. “I’ve had long hair for the longest time. I’ve shaved my hair in Tirupati four times, and it always grows back,” she said.
Shalini, who has been consistent about her natural hair, further emphasised that the texture and quality of her hair have remained unchanged throughout the years. “I’m just blessed to have good hair,” she added.
In addition to addressing the rumours about her hair, Shalini reflected on her journey into the public eye and the scrutiny that comes with it. “My pictures already existed on social media, people just went further and searched them,” she explained. Despite the invasion of privacy she sometimes feels, Shalini remains positive, stating, “I feel that I’m getting so much love, and I have nothing to hide.” She also mentioned that she sees her platform as a chance to be a voice for people, particularly from North India. “I came out as somebody who people were able to relate to,” she said.
Shalini Passi rose to fame with the reality TV series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, which premiered on October 18. The show provided a glimpse into her glamorous personal and professional life, highlighting her larger-than-life personality and bold fashion sense.
