Saif Ali Khan further said in an interview, “My mother does not throw anything away. She transforms it into a new avatar by adding things to it. After marrying into a royal family, she has played a vital role in preserving Pataudi Bhawan and turning it into a beautiful palace”. He further said, “There is no picture of her in Pataudi House. There is only one picture near the bookcase when she received the National Award. Of course, there is no picture of her, but her aura is present everywhere. Her details are present everywhere from the gardens to the blinds. No picture is needed to depict her presence.”

She used to get upset because a businessman living in front of us used to double the salary of our staff and keep them with him.” In the same interview, Saif said, “When we were in Pataudi, she would organize trampoline jumps for her grand kids.
