Madhuri and I are unique and we cannot be compared.’ Actually, the news of a fight between Madhuri Dixit and Meenakshi Seshadri came when Meenakshi was signed as the second lead in the film ‘Shinakht’. At the same time, Madhuri was cast in the lead role in the film.

Earlier, Dimple Kapadia got the lead role in ‘Shinakht’, and Meenakshi was the second lead, however later, when Dimple Kapadia left the film, Madhuri Dixit was signed for the lead role, while Meenakshi Sheshadri got the second lead role. It is said that Meenakshi got angry with this and refused to work with Madhuri. The rift between the two increased and ‘Shinaakht’ was shelved. Meenakshi left films at the peak of her career, married investment banker Harish Mysore, and shifted to America and started running a dance academy there.
