‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ top the list of best films by Filmmaker Anand L Rai. He received a lot of appreciation and love for both these films which were blockbuster hits. Anand L Rai is known in the industry for making films on topics like love. Kangana Ranaut is in the lead role in both films. It is said that during ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, there were some differences between the producer of the film and Kangana.

According to media reports, recently he admitted that both of them changed personally after the first film. During this, he also said that if its third part is made, he will do it with Kangana only. During the conversation, the director talked about himself and Kangana and said that after the success of Tanu Weds Manu and ‘Raanjhanaa’, he also changed.

Talking about how their equation changed while working on Tanu Weds Manu Returns, he told one of the media houses, ‘If we talk about Kangana, Tanu Weds Manu was released in the year 2011 then she did ‘Queen’ and then she came for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. There is a graph in an actor’s life too, by that time, even as a director, I did not want to repeat myself. Kangana wanted to move forward and she was moving forward.’ Aanand L Rai further added, ‘I think what happened right with us was that we were hungry to be in our own space at that time.’

He added that he never thought that working on the film would be an easy task. ‘We never wanted it to be easy. I never think that making any film is easy.’ Talking about Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming films, her upcoming film is ‘Emergency’. Emergency is one of Kangana’s dream projects. Recently, the actress shared the poster of the film on Instagram and also announced the release date of the film. Her film will hit the theaters on 6 September 2024.
