Actor Naga Chaitanya has finally shared his thoughts on his upcoming wedding to actress Sobhita Dhulipala, after keeping their relationship largely private. The couple, who got engaged in August, will marry on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone in their journey together.
In a recent interview with The Times of India, ChaitanyaNaga Chaitanya Deleted His Last Picture With Ex-Wife Samantha Ruth Before Marrying Sobhita Dhulipala expressed his excitement about starting a new chapter with Sobhita. “I am looking forward to starting a new journey with Sobhita and celebrating life together,” he said. “I connect deeply with her, she understands me beautifully and fills a void in me. It’s going to be an amazing journey ahead.”
Chaitanya also revealed that while there is a lot of excitement surrounding the wedding, there are also some nerves due to the logistics. “There is a lot of excitement, butterflies… not much (smiles). Butterflies are only because of the planning and the logistics involved—bringing the guest list together and sorting out other details,” he shared. Despite the busy preparations, the couple’s wedding will take place at Annapurna Studios, a location that holds sentimental value for Chaitanya and his family. “It was a conscious decision to have the wedding there, in front of my grandfather’s statue, to seek his blessings,” he explained. “Our families are excited to come together and celebrate.”
Chaitanya and Sobhita’s relationship has been relatively private since they started dating two years ago. While they were often spotted on vacations together, the couple only made their engagement public in August. Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but the couple separated in 2021.
The wedding is expected to be an intimate affair, with close friends and family in attendance. The Akkineni and Daggubati families, along with Sobhita’s relatives, will be present at the ceremony. The couple has opted for a traditional Telugu wedding, with Sobhita wearing traditional Andhra weaves for the occasion.
As Chaitanya and Sobhita prepare for their big day, fans are eager to see the couple begin this new journey together, surrounded by loved ones and rich cultural traditions.
