After a long wait of four years, Mirzapur Season 3 has finally arrived, but sadly, this season has not been liked by the people. When the first season of Mirzapur came out in 2018, it flooded the fans with action, deceit, politics, and power. The grief of the death of Vikrant Massey’s character Bablu Pandit brought tears to the eyes of the fans, while Pankaj Tripathi’s scary role of Kaleen Bhaiya won the hearts of the audience. In the second season, Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit’s desire for revenge also won the hearts of the people, and Divyendu’s performance as the power-hungry Munna Bhaiya was excellent.

Now, after a wait of four years, Mirzapur 3 was released at midnight and brought disappointment to the fans. Guddu and Kaleen Bhaiya return, joined by Rasika Duggal as Beena Tripathi and Shweta Tripathi in the role of Golu. However, Munna Bhaiya’s absence can be felt a lot. Excited fans binge-watched the new season almost immediately, but the show again witnessed violence. People obviously didn’t like the season.

Shweta Tripathi

Some fans found the season boring, others lamented the weak storyline. But nothing could stop the internet from churning out memes and viral dialogues. One fan lamented – Mirzapur Season 3, the worst experience in Season 1 and Season 2… No content, no story, no action… a very boring season. One quipped – #MirzapurS3 is like a slow-cooked khichdi – too many characters and storylines mixed together, making it a boring one.

Shweta Tripathi

Some people in particular are blaming actress Shweta Tripathi for the flop of this season. People have called her the weakest gangster in Indian cinema. Despite the mixed reactions, Mirzapur Season 4 is also coming. But the big question is, will fans wait for it as eagerly as they did for Season 3, which clearly missed its mark? Only time will tell.
