Tunisha Sharma, Sheezan Khan To Be Replaced In Alibaba Daastan-e-Kabul? Here’s What You Need To Know!

The investigation into the Tunisha Sharma suicide case is still going on. The actress was reportedly found dead on the set of her TV show “Ali Baba: Daastan-e-Kabul” on December 24. Her ex-boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan were arrested a day after Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma filed a complaint of ‘abettment to suicide.’ Since then, the actor is in judicial custody, and his next bail plea will be heard today, i.e., on January 13.

On January 2, Sheeezan’s sisters, Falaq Naaz and Shafaq Naaz, held a press conference along with lawyer Shailendra Mishra. They addressed all the allegations levelled against Sheezan and their family. During the conversation they made some shocking claims against the deceased’s mother, Vanita.

The show’s makers are on the lookout for new actors

Amidst this matter, the makers of the daily show have decided to rope in new actors and continue telling their story. As per the latest information, Abhishek Nigam has bagged the title role in “Ali Baba,” replacing Sheezan Khan. Abhishek has earlier worked with the same team in “Gayab Mode On” and is bound to step in during this moment of crisis. Well, the female lead is still not finalized, and the hunt is on. The makers are still toying with the idea of introducing a new character who will play Tunisha’s role as Princess Mariam.

According to a report, “Abhishek Nigam has been finalised and will soon shoot for the promo. In this promo, after being fatally injured, Ali Baba will be shown undergoing primitive plastic surgery to get a new face. However, the makers are keeping their options open and may make more changes if required.” Moreover, ever since Tunisha’s death, producers Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez have not commented on the matter.

Death of Tunisha Sharma

Tunisha Sharma (4 January 2002 – 24 December 2022) committed suicide in the makeup room of her co-star Sheezan Khan during show “Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. After committing suicide, Tunisha was immediately rushed to Reng Office Hospital in Naigaon, Vasai, where she was declared dead on arrival. Her post-mortem was conducted at J. J. Hospital, Mumbai, on December 25, the next day after her death. Many speculations arose that the actress was pregnant. The doctors dismissed the reports, saying that the 20-year-old actress died of suffocation. Tunisha’s last rites were performed on December 27 at 3 p.m. at the cremation ground on Mira Road, Mumbai. Bhog and Antim Ardas for Tunisha were held on January 5 in her hometown, Punjab.
